Ok quit being in a hurry all the time. I just ordered the flat bottom wood handle one that @clifish recommended. It’ll be here Thursday so I’ll return the other or save it for a gift….for someone w a gas stove lol

You did the right thing. I have tried the round wok with stand on electric and not the thing to do!

Ya now I’m starting to rethink it……I could return it easy enough….

Appreciate you boys advice….im gonna find a flat bottom …..first time I ever said that I think lol
Or if you have a kettle use it on that. Set the ring on the grate if you don't have the pull out grate insert. It will get plenty hot enough. Just an Idea. That is basically the same Wok I have and they work so good. I have a dedicated outside gas burner for mine though.

The one in your pic only looks to have ONE handle long one. Make sure (if you do replace it) that it has TWO handles.

I never "flip/shake" mine so both handles are small size, like this:

I suppose some do "flip" the food but I've found that trying to do that splatters stuff more and can be quite heavy. That's what you've got the spatula for (perfect version per your pic).

I have a Imusa from Walmart, I really like it. it's cast iron but fairly lite, flat bottom.

I’m getting ready to grill some chicken and the wife is gonna stirfry some veggies inside but like always, the pan is too small.

We need a Wok. There’s a million out there. Who has one they love?
Thanks
I use a carbon steel wok I got from a Chinese food store. Around $35. It's what they use in the restaurant. Simple, cheap and efficient. Treat it like one of your cast iron pots.

That’s my plan this morning @Fueling Around . No need to smoke, or heat up the house.

Wok looks great…..thanks again all

In Florida we have a smooth top radiant range. It is not our favorite, OK call it a POS. Slow to heat and long to cool down.
We bought a counter top induction burner. Fast to heat and immediate cool down.
I have 2 of them 1 has better/lower temps so easier to simmer. bought for camper but like so well I use them in home also.

I bought a Duxtop Induction unit. So far handled everything from simmer to deep fry.
Wife is happy we can decently stir fry food again.

Looks great . That's a nice wok . Looks like it transfers heat really well .
