You did the right thing. I have tried the round wok with stand on electric and not the thing to do!Ok quit being in a hurry all the time. Good to hear . That one Cliff linked should be great .I’ll return the other
Or if you have a kettle use it on that. Set the ring on the grate if you don't have the pull out grate insert. It will get plenty hot enough. Just an Idea. That is basically the same Wok I have and they work so good. I have a dedicated outside gas burner for mine though.Ya now I’m starting to rethink it……I could return it easy enough….
Appreciate you boys advice….im gonna find a flat bottom …..first time I ever said that I think lol
I use a carbon steel wok I got from a Chinese food store. Around $35. It's what they use in the restaurant. Simple, cheap and efficient. Treat it like one of your cast iron pots.I’m getting ready to grill some chicken and the wife is gonna stirfry some veggies inside but like always, the pan is too small.
We need a Wok. There’s a million out there. Who has one they love?
Thanks
Took a few cooks and seasoning to really get it coated. I oil after every cook as well. Thanks again for all the input! I should get the new one tomorrow View attachment 720434
Looks goodThanks again for all the input! I should get the new one tomorrow
I have 2 of them 1 has better/lower temps so easier to simmer. bought for camper but like so well I use them in home also.In Florida we have a smooth top radiant range. It is not our favorite, OK call it a POS. Slow to heat and long to cool down.
We bought a counter top induction burner. Fast to heat and immediate cool down.
