Camp Chef Smokevault doesn’t heat up

I have a 24” Camp Chef Somevault that doesn’t get above 200 degrees according to the door thermometer and it loses it’s heat as the night gets cooler. It used to get up to 300 until this spring. The vents are wide open. Any ideas?

Have you checked the temp with a probe on the grate or just the therm on the door?

How old is it?
I just put a new burner assembly in mine for that very reason.
You can get the whole assembly from Camp Chef including the knob, drum, & ignighter for $29.
