California Smoker

[whatdyisit]

New guy to smoking here. Located in southern California.

I'm getting my feet wet on a hand-me-down cheepo electric smoker and a borrowed Smokey Mountain 3405BGW. Done about a dozen briskets, couple of turkeys and a few pork butts. I've been using you guys a resource since the start and figured I'd hop in on the conversation.

Thanks guys! I've been active in various forums in the past, but not so much since the kiddos and business ownership came along. I look forward to contributing to the site. I'm on a mission to pick up a new smoker but if I can't find what I want, I'll be building my own. I'll be sure to document and share that if I do.
