  1. Hello.  You can call me Dennis.  I had to make up a name, so I took it from the mfg. of my smoker and my name.  I am not a Cajun, but I do like Cajun food.  I am new to smoking; however I have tasted some very good smoked meats.  So, I decided to get me a smoker and give it a try.  I am a retired construction safety guy from Henderson, KY which is in the Western part of Kentucky, across the Ohio river from Evansville, Indiana.  I just purchased a 4 rack Cajun Electric smoker.  I plan to smoke beef, pork, chicken, fish, and maybe some lamb.  I am looking forward to trying some of the recipes that I have seen on this site.  Thank you ahead of time for all the help that you will give to me.

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per Jeff. Not that you have done anything wrong....just a little bit of FYI for new members!

Here is the proper way to post Q-view or photos here at SMF. http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/125263/how-to-upload-a-photo-q-view-to-your-post

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!
