Never made Butter Chicken but I make Chicken Tikka Masala, once a month. Looks good...JJ

My wife and I are working to learn authentic Indian cooking. We're fortunate to have a few Indian markets around us, so it's easy to find the right ingredients. If you've not been to one, the produce and spices are incredibly good, and cost but a tiny fraction of what they do in the supermarket.

Anyway, my wife has been trying a few recipes for butter chicken. One of her early attempts called for 3 t cayenne pepper. She misread and used 3T

It was awesome! Don't know why one would make it any other way.

try a vindaloo or a briyani

I have 5 indian markets here... its where I get my sausage making spice.... and if you dont see something on the shelf as the clerk becuase some items (saffron) they put in the office for safe keeping
 
did you end up with butter lips?
