Hi guys,

Just as a curiosity...two days ago I was at a Carnival parade and took a shot of a Butifarra Soledeña vendor that was passing by. Notice the bucket full of butifarras and the white lab coat. Needless to say that buying his product is an act of faith since he is the middle man between the producer and the hungry costumer.

Greetings

Albert
Anthony Bourdain would have, and Andrew Zimmern would be, all over trying some of those butifarras.

They are as good as fowl balls (turkey nuts)!
I ended up here in Kentucky many years ago because my dad got transferred. He was employed by Westinghouse. They were bought out and closed the plant in New Jersey and moved him here.

Anyhow, he did his first year commuting between NJ and KY before we all moved.

At a restaurant while he was here in his Kentucky commute, he saw turkey fries on the menu. In his mind, it was maybe fried pieces of turkey served somehow, so he asked the waiter what it was. The waiter got real close to dad's ear and whispered, "It's the testicles, sir".

If I see the term "animal" (insert any here) fries, I know very well what part of the animal is being served. I do not like the taste of most organ foods due to the texture and mineral.
