Hello all and soon to be a Happy New Year from Ohio! I'm Rob and from central and southern Ohio with a brief stint in central Fla!

I've been smoking for a couple years and have been using a modified ECB, and just yesterday stepped up and got a Brinkmann Trailmaster Limited Edition!

I put it together yesterday, sealed a few leaky spots, and seasoned last night. This morning i fired it up and am smoking a pork butt for a nice New Years eve snack.

Even though i've been smoking a couple years I still understand that I've got alot to learn and I will be asking alot of questions and hopefully I will eventually be able to answer the questions of others!

Now starting with my first question, what is the best way to get a TMLE to keep a good constant temp for smoking, I currently cant get it to stay below 305 degrees and was wondering the best way to drop it!

Thanks for any help that can be given!
