Does injecting a brisket affect the cook time? I usually don't inject my brisket but I want to try it this weekend for some company.
 
No it won't change the cook time. If you inject it make sure you keep the smoker temp at 225 or higher. You introduce bacteria into the meat with the needle & to be safe you have to smoke it at 225.
