Wife has my smoker locked down today we have a wedding to go to

Tomorrow is a different story. 9lbs of boneless skinless turkey breast in the brine right now along with some chicken drumsticks and a few chicken kebobs that were on reduced sale at the grocers this morning. A all poultry Sunday coming up!

Brisket sounds sooo good! I got a 14lb'nder in the freezer waiting on me to pay attention to it!

Thanks guys, It's clicking right along. I bought a Maverick 733 a while back(Been forgetting to use it) About half way through my cook I remembered it still in the box. Got it figured out (I think) one probe in the Brisket the other in the Pork Butt.  

Question ---  will it Beep when it hits the temp I set ?

I never heard it, which doesn't mean anything, Our alarm system beeps every time someone opens or closes a door or window I haven't heard it yet. My wife's alarm is set to tone which beeps Never hear it. I better just watch the temps. I had the PB set for 205º

I saw it when it was at 207º.  PB done waiting on the Brisket

I have the 733 as well and yes, it beeps when it hits the set temp. Have one monitoring the MES and one on the pb right now!

Good News !!!   I did hear it Beep, Resat the Pit temp, turned off the TV and put the receiver closer    Beep - Beep - Beep   How about that

I know what you mean. I've had mine for a year. Only wear them at meal time and watching TV. Everything is just too LOUD!!!! The world is a much softer place when I take them out again. LOL
