Today was a huge day at the CivilSmoker house hold….. after many years the X-Fire is in place ready to breath fire again!!!

A chimney of coals in place and ready to fire….

Where there is smoke, fire will soon follow……

Oh man the flames have sparked……

…..the flames are getting stronger!!!!!

The flames are ALIVE….. the heart beat of the X-Fire LIVES!!!! @Brokenhandle these next few pics are for you!!!

Preparing the grates for searing…..

They dance with purpose!!

They move with mystic purpose…..

The grates embrace the flames as a partner of love!

The Fire Walz has its audience on their seats!

This one speaks to me…. It’s time to flame sear!!!!!!!

It’s sizzle time……this brings tears to my eyes!!!

Nothing but happy smiles as they rest….INT 128 ish….

Just a shot of the split baby shrooms the boy seared up!

And for all the effort, just a simple meat and a fresh Idaho baker….with a light drizzle of a balsamic reduction…..

The X-Fire delivered a meal and memory!

A very satisfying and fulfilling first bite!!
