So I have been using a igrill mini. It is great and the fact that it links to my iPhone is awesome. But I wanted to be able to monitor the pit along with the meat so I bought the maverick 733 from Amazon for $64.00 .
Well I wonder why I waited so long.. It is great and for the price you can not beat it..
The only thing that I will finish to put heat shrink on the probes..

The Maverick 733 is great! The shrink tube at the top is a good idea, but do 2 layers with the outer being a bit longer.

What do you mean by heat shrink at the top? Are you meaning where the probe wire connects to the metal probe? Thats ingenious and glad its a common thought.
