Belated Mom's Day Smoke !!

Hey all, I had to work last Sunday so wasn't able to smoke for Mom's Day ! My wife asked for some pulled pork, so ya know....
Twist my arm ! :biggrin: Plus all the PP threads on here recently, it was time ! So PP for dinner it is ! Having my parents over for dinner as well.... So here we go !

Looks awesome, great color.  Does a picnic pull the same as a butt?  I see better deals on picnic shoulder prices but wasn't sure if they taste the same as a shoulder blade cut.

Thanks Mike ! In my experience, the picnics do pull & taste the same as a butt. The picnics generally have a bit more fat on them, like this one had a pretty thick skin still attached. But I trimmed it off & gonna try makin some rinds later. I may start doing more picnics as the price of butts are getting kinda spendy here !
