Welcome from your neighbor to the north in Dahlonega, Ga.  Sorry I can't give you a ton of info on pit bbq but I know a lot of folks on here sure can.  In the meantime, head up to the Forums dropdown near the top of the screen and then down to the Smoking Supplies and Equipment Section.  There you will find various smoker/grill builds and such.  Plus you can type in what you're looking for in the Search bar and you should yield some top notch results.  Good luck and I hope you get some good info quick.  Looking forward to some build pics and qview!
