When I ordered my RecTec Stampede I added a package the had these Grillgrates and they are awesome. Last week I went to their website and found this recipe and thought wow this would be easy.
Last night I made up the brine and had it chilling in the fridge. This morning I added the four chops before going to work. They brined for 12 hours. I cranked up the RecTec to 400 degrees and let the Grillgrates get nice and hot.
After the first 5 minuets I turned them for the beautiful grate marks. I went approximately 15-20 minuets each side. This recipe had amazing flavors and like the author said the beer and molasses will produce unique flavors. I’m just passing on a great recipe to try.
The Mrs always says I grill the chop to long but I like them crispy. This cook I toned it down a bit as to not dry them out......see loved them:cool:
I will definitely make these again!
