Thought I would share this. If you have a local Meijer they have a killer deal on whole beef tenderloin. $6.99 lb. Limit 2.

Just checked our local Kroger ad and ours are on sale for $8.99 lb. I will probably still pick one up but I would be all over $6.99!

Thanks Travis. WOW . Same deal here, cool! I haven't had tenderloin in forever.

This is in the town south of my shop. I'll be making the trip on my lunch break!

Ive not had it in a long time myself. Normal price around here is $15-$17 per lb. !

Small chain grocery around here has whole ribeyes for $4.99 lb. Wonder what is up with the beef sale?

Oh, man.... It's like you are teasing me.. $6.99? This is crazy dea! My local Lucky supermarket has it at $9.99 per # and I am considering to buy a few.... Kinda expensive but....

Seeing the same. I think a lot of folks aren't buying stuff like this to save money. I guess a benefit to us essentials.

I read with all the covid crap, a guy from a packing plant said its ground beef people are buying. Fine by me, I'll grab those "cheap" steaks.

Ive seen a lot of that too. And on top of that its packaged in a way you cant really see what your getting. I'm glad I went on my lunch break to grab these. Limit was 2 and they had three.

Don't want to detour the thread ,,, but SV rules no roll .
Lol. I agree ..I just vac packed a chunk of eye. No grade on it ...but it wont mater after 24-30 HR in the SV. Ive been looking at different cuts lately trying to decide what to SV next.

I had a no roll strip loin . Sv'd steaks and a roast . It was really good . Left over roast was the best sandwich meat . 2.99 a pound , can't beat that .
