Beef prices are still up in my area so we have been looking for deals everywere we can. Now I'm not one to usually buy a pre made burger patty...normaly because I dont like to pay the extra money for someone to do something I can do in a very short time. Then they have the "gourmet" patty that has extra stuff in them like jalapeno cheddar and bacon cheddar. Those are even more expensive but they are very tasty. Any way ive been seeing a trend around here and it works out to my advantage.. Prices are way way up and nobody is buying . so what happens? They mark them way down to damn neer free! Its crazy.

The wife grabbed two packs of these pre made patty yesterday. She sent me a picture and said " I know you dont like to buy pre made pattys but what about theese?" And if course I said..."yes! Dont pass up that deal!" Lol

Here is a picture of the pack she sent me. She ended up buying two packs.

Keep an eye out. Beef is not moving in our area and they keep marking it down to unload it!

That's a heck of a deal. Thankfully, ground beef is starting to come down here in Middle TN, but now gasoline is up. Geez!

Gasoline has been staying right around the $2 mark here. But it was way below that for a long time.

Great deal on those patties. And surprising too our Kroger's usually doesn't mark stuff down that much but $.99 a lb...sign me up!

That's a heck of a deal! I've noticed even before all the covid people are just lazy. Half if not more of our meat counters are full of premade foods...stuffed burger patties, pre filled poppers, foods to take home and cook no prep needed. But sure does come with a price tag! Glad I'm too cheap to pay for it.

Normally ours doesnt either. I honestly think people just are not buying as much due to the prices.

Yep...its all stems from that instant gratification! Lol. Number 1 reason I involve my kids in the kitchen. Much more gratification when you put a little love into something!

Good score! Prices are about normal here. GB is $3/lb everywhere. Drive up, load the cooler, and throw in a line! Or we can meet halfway and trade some fish fillets for ground beef! :emoji_laughing:

I picked up a real nice butt last weekend for $1.79 per lb. at Walmart. Turned out to be one of the best butts I have smoked. I told Judy we should buy a couple more the next time we go back, & freeze them. She agreed!!

Ground beef stuff is getting closer to normal here. But the steaks and any pre made stuff is still crazy! As far as the trade goes.....not sure Ryder would go for that...ever seen a 7 year old fellet a blue gill? Lol a lot if blood sweet and tears went into his catches..probably be pretty hard to convince him lol!

Al, thats a real good price. Be worth freezing a few. Exactly why we added extra freezers. Cant pass up a good deal like that!

Beef prices are ridiculous here also. Your Kroger is Frys here. Last week the meat guy saved me a brisket which was on sale @ $2.49# and now I have 15+ lbs ground. This week chuck roasts on sale at $2.97# so I picked up a few to freeze and smoke at a later date. I also try and get the deals from the sale by this date section. With my frys fuel card I'm still able to get fuel around the $2 mark.

Thats a good price on those chuckies! They were on sale here too but $3.99 lb

Nice find on those patties and even nicer that she found them before someone else did!
I'm done with Kroger, though. Got a flyer yesterday advertising buy one get one free chuck roasts and top sirloin for $5.99#. The first store had a piddly handful of each that no one else wanted. The second store had a half dozen roasts but they were brown! This isn't the first time this has happened.
Meijer will mark things way down like that when the exp date is a day away and you can get some good deals...

What a Price, Travis!!!
I never bought ready made Patties, but that one would be in my cart, for sure!!
Nice Find!

Prices back to normal here. Ground beef is still a bit high. Got gas at Sam's club yesterday for $1.80
Hopefully they get back to normal here soon. Pork and chicken is still up too unless you find a good sale

Thanks bear! I'm not much for buying the pre made stuff either. But how do you pass this up?
