Home of BBQ
I found some beef plate ribs on sale a while back & could not pass on grabbing them. Four 3-bone racks, making weighing almost 23 lb. total! Coated them with salt, pepper, & garlic the night before, using hot sauce as a binder. Smoked them at 275F for 8 hours in my Louisiana Grills 7 Series with oak pellets, & this was the best beef I have ever cooked. It came out perfect. Fed the family & my parents, & the whole party was happy.

My father grew up in KC & claims he didn't know that BBQ included anything other than beef before moving to the Mid-South. I can't resist trying to impress him with some beef.

That total beef fire right there. I’d fight for a table place. Hell yeah!

I smoked 2 yesterday. After the smoker was rolling I sat down with a Nub Cameroon & a cup of joe. After the cook was done and we were sitting by the pool, I lit up a Davidoff Aniversario No. 3.

You nailed those ribs! Great color on them! I can see why dad liked them.

Wow, those ribs look deliciious. I need to find some. I think I remember seeing them at costco once but now all I see is cut ones. Guess I have to look elsewhere. Just hope when I do mine they are half as good as yours look.

Beef ribs are my favorite meat to smoke and eat, and you absolutely nailed that cook. I enjoy a A Fuente Churchill occasionally, goes well with good scotch or bourbon. RAY
