Hi All The kabobs are going on a skewer then into a  basket then on the rotisserie.

Dan it was the same price a few weeks ago when I went. How about skirt steak from RD?

Richie.

Richie do they always have them? Last time I got them they were in the butcher dept.

They would make excellent kabobs!!!

Thanks Dan

Maybe it's just me but in the 3 times l grilled Skirt to med/rare, it was so tough you had to spend time slicing paper thin across the grain and STILL jaw the heck out of it. Insult to injury, sore jaws, the stuff cost $6.99 a pound. There is no way we could have eaten a 1" cure of that leather. The favor of skirt is great but other than marinated in wine vinegar and sliced thin for fajitas, l don't buy it...JJ

Agree.

It can be fantastic when marinated with a good amount of citrus like they do for carne asada. Even then, it has to be grilled over nuclear coals for a short time. At least that's the way we like it. I get ours from Albertsons pre-marinated for $6.99/lb. and it makes the best tacos with a little onion and cilantro..

HI All I finally got around to  making Shis Kebab..I used Prime top  round London Broil. The meat had looked good before cooking, nice marbling and so on. I might have over cook them? Some pieces were really tough.

Here are some pics, they looked better then came out!!!

I did use my instant read/Therapen to check meat temps. I was really looking for a nice char on the outside. Might have let the temps get away?
