You raised your kids right be proud of them always.

My wife was USAF and told the kids when you get older and thinking military join the AF like I did.
Well 3 of them went US ARMY.

Oldest daughter went in first right out of HS. Worked her butt off (never deployed) got lots of advancements, promotions and been all over the USA.

We just got notified that out of 90 up for promotion she just made SgtMaj....YAY

Her brothers have been deployed to active battle areas.

Our one son went SF, and has been to areas he won't say. We think he may be Delta force right now, we dont ask anymore.

Other son was 82nd AA Paratrooper Infantry and been deployed 4 times to Iraq & Afghanistan. He is out now and at 95% complete on airline training for Skywest. Start time for second seat is Dec.

Be proud of your kids.....Time goes by fast.

My oldest was in Desert Storm. He was stationed in Saudi Arabia.
They were the Support Group for the 82nd.
The 82nd was inside Iraq 2 weeks before the war actually started.

You should be proud, your family definitely doing they're part in keeping our country safe.

Yup be proud of them for sure. My son is a full time reserve (The Lake Superior Scottish Regiment (LSSR)38 Canadian Brigade Group) and is on his way for the third time to Camp Ripley Training Center across the border for 3 weeks. This is the 3rd time he has gone. He has gone to many Canadian Army bases for training also.
Very proud of him to stick to it. Scary part is the way the world is going I do worry a lot more now.

American sons and daughters are the best of the world. We love them all. Wife was US Navy. Her dad was Army. So the Army Navy game is always fun. But we love them all. God Bless the USA.

Definitely proud. Tell them thank you for their service and sacrifice to our beloved country, freedoms and also to our families. God bless 🇺🇲 🍺

Canadian Soldiers from the Lake Superior Scottish Regiment and Canadian Sailors from the Navy Ship HMCS Griffon are on post and beginning their week of training in Minnesota! This weekend, they received an aerial tour from the 2nd Battalion, 147th Assault Helicopter Battalion and conducted ropes and rappel training, CBRN training, and pistol and rifle live-fire ranges.

Missed this first rounds.
Rick, Congrats to your offspring avoiding the chairforce. (That's my son's term as he is also Army now NG)
Also one of my better friends back in MN is retired AF.
Son just got his rocker while his mom and I are deployed to Florida. He's hoping they will conduct a repeat of slapping of the stripes for us this summer.

Kudos to your son for his service.
Sucks they didn't get any winter training.
Son was there many years ago for annual training while a combat engineer.
He loved the infantry training and flying in a helicopter is his head rush.
He's now a medic

Just came back last night. Nice to have him back home. Said it was a good time but you do meet some dumbasses and even worse when you have to share the same sleeping quarters with them. LOL
