are there any good places to get bbq in your part of the state? if i traveled to your city where could i stop? in the fort i hit ziffles in georgtown plaza. people say "shiggs n pits" is good but i havent tried it.
 
I agree with Matt, but if you want an answer, Rodney Scott's in Charleston. One of the last few whole hog BBQ joints anywhere and still wood fired...

Completely joking. I don't consider any chain a true BBQ. It ain't true BBQ unless I'm standing outside in line for a screened in joint being served by big sweaty dudes or a roadside smoker being manned by a big sweaty dude :emoji_laughing:
 
yes that atmosphere does add to it for sure!!!
