Thought I’d try something a little different threw these on the smoker for a couple hours at 250

I’m inspired now I have some Texas hot links in the freezer along with some bacon, and I’m sure I have some cheese too!

Can I offer a little suggestion... Next time don't make the sausage so long.. cut them a little shorter.. this will provide a cup (so to speak) to hold all that goodness inside the bacon and not run off down the sides...
Sometimes I will mix some of my favorite rub with dark brown sugar... use that for the filling... Pork Shot Candy ...
