I am sure ya do. We are headed up there to South Dakota this summer. My wife has never seen the Badlands, Mt. Rushemore or the Crazy Horse monument under construction. We are both of Native American heritage. I love it up there myself.

That looks like the same as the slicer we have at work. Heres a pic of it in action slicing up some roast beef.It has been in service since at least 1972 when my former boss started there...the same year as I was Born!!

Last year was the first year we had to do a major over haul on it.
Needed a new slicing tray with hold down gaurd(425.00) a back side blade guard(125.00) and a new blade(1200.00!!

). Not even sure what the labor charge was! Not bad though for 39+ years! So hopefully your grandchildrens children will appreciate your fabulous find!

That, my friend, is an exceptional find! That knob in front puts it into automatic mode; turn it on, pull the knob and the carraige will go back and forth slicing automatically if it's like the one my dad had at his store (see behind him):



We used it not just for bacon and cold cuts but also to automatically slice dried beef.
