Had some baby backs in the freezer so I decided to smoke them today. Used the 2 - 2 - 1 method using hickory with a smoker 225.

Here they are just going on the smoker.

Here they are at 1 hours in when I was spritzing with apple juice.

Here they are going in the foil.

All in all they were very good still prefer spares over baby backs.

I took all the pictures with my cellphone so sorry if they're not the best quality and thanks for looking.

Thanks everyone. The were really good. I was happy with the color on them. Just not a huge BB fan. Would I do them again. YES! Thumbs Up

I'm going against traffic. I prefer the BB's over the spares.. Yours looks great Bri

I forgive you guys for going the wrong way

Looks delicious!  Does pull back on the bone have any indication on tenderness?  I feel as though I've overcooked mine before and didn't have too much pullback.

When it comes to Ribs, I go with what is On Sale! Spares are my first choice but I have had meaty Baby Backs that were very good...JJ
