I probably been posting to much lately but going to throw one more out there. I was at the store and seen a portion of St Louis ribs discounted. They where very meaty and though would be perfect for the Vortex.
I been wanting to do some Asian ribs. I went with my Korean Flanken rib marinade. Vacuum sealed in morning. Man I love that chamber sealer!!!
Ready for the grill
Vortex with chuck of pecan. Thirty minutes. Flip and another 20 minutes. They were temping 195 to 200. Was wanting to make an Asian BBQ sauce but did not happen. I used Head Country. Just toss in bowl with sauce. Normally not a sauce guy but love the way the vortex does it. Ten minutes and done. Put into a cover bowl while I did the corn.
Plate shot blurry but coleslaw and David's,
DRKsmoking
mustard pickles. Man I love those. These were the best vortex ribs I have done! Very tender and smokey. There where just like they been smoked all day.
