....an increasing amount of advertisements in your facebook (like a video will start and half-way through it says "Pausing for 10 second Ad" and you have to wait through it, or on CNN or MSNBC or Fox there's a big ad for something you'd looked up previously, taking up half the screen?). These drive me nuts!
I realize they all need to make money, but not at my expense of enjoying the internet. I already pay far too much for my service as it is.
Well, to get to the point, there's been this ad for this Ad Blocker program, so I signed up for it. $39 per year.
Wow! BOOM! No more ads in video feeds, no more banner ads, nothing! It actually works! adremover.org It does the job very, very effectively!
I also subscribe to Malwarebytes Premium, $25 per year. This program saved me from ransomware a couple years ago, got my computer unlocked and restored it to a safe condition and I highly recommend it, too.
I'm not "advertising" these, just letting y'all know that they do actually work very effectively!
