Hi Zempage,
I'm looking at doing he same thing only in a full size fridge, and converting the freezer to a cheese cave. That basically means I'll just have double the sensors. I'm also planning on using a Photon wifi kit (https://store.particle.io/?product=particle-photon). Right now I'm just amassing the components, but I was wondering if you'd be willing to share your code?
From the reading I've done it doesn't seem to be much of a problem. I guess we'll see though! I have a watertight project box that will hold all the components.
Hi Zempage,
Curious if you have looked into whether the fridge and freezer have a common air transfer system. From my research I think some fridges, if not all, will have some air flow between the fridge and freezer portions. I think you don't want the molds from the meats to interact with the molds from the cheeses. I would probably use the freezer portion to hold all of the electrical components to keep things tidy, and then do a separate chamber from cheese. Again, based on my research only, not personal experience.
