So, I love apples and I eat a lot of them. I also love using apple wood smoke on everything except beef. So I had this thought, what if I saved the apple cores from all the apples I devoured, dried them out, and burned a couple of them along with the apple wood when I smoked? I mean, people use corn cobs, right? So would this work to add something different and sweet to the 'cue or am I just downright crazy?
