Just curious?!

Bull riding is a definite art… and enjoy watching when time allows.

We try to catch the tour in Idaho Falls… they come around in April! Wasn’t able to make it this year… but hoping the next.

Been a bit… and just wondering if any of you enjoy it?! Have a local kid that I do not know… but has done well!

Tristen Hutchings… so try to follow him a bit!

We enjoy it quite a bit. We were stoked to learn the town we just moved to has a small local rodeo put on by the brible club monthly.

Also, just watched The Last Rodeo from Angel Studios with the family. Awesome movie, well written, and Neil McDonough plays his role perfectly. Highly recommend the watch if you enjoy rodeo.

Sorry to those that clicked for beer… I didn’t even think about that when posting… However, do enjoy a PBR at times when Q’ing.

Now, next go at the PBR… I want a cold PBR or two! Ha! 😉

I don't mind a PBR every once in a while!

We used to get a kick when Cowabunga would take a victory lap around the arena before going back to the stalls.

Don't watch much PBR, but a past my prime rodeo contestant that loves rodeo and watch the Cowboy Channel nearly every day. I was a timed event guy, but as I get older I like the saddle broncs the best. I enjoy watching good horses whether they are working or bucking.

I rode a horse once, as a kid at a carnival....

I like watching the kids ride.

This sounds like a tall tale, it's not, I still have the scars!!!
It happened in the 1980s in a small village out in the sticks in the middle of the rainforests outside of Cancun, Mexico. with lots of tequila on board, and I mean lots. I got volunteered to ride a steer that had fake horns attached to it's head by my girlfriend. It was at this restaurant that the locals we were working with took us to.

The restaurant was outdoors and the seating was elevated around the perimeter of a bullfighting arena. Anyhow, they dressed me up like a bullfighter, cap and a blunt ended sword. Then they gave me the choice of fight it or ride it. I chose to ride it, what an f'ing mistake that was.

All I remember was flying through the air, then picking pieces of broken glass out of my arms and legs. That thing threw me a good 10'. I landed right in the middle of a table, scattering these people's dinner everywhere, and I do mean everywhere. I held on for three seconds, then my world came to a glass shattering halt.

When I caught my breath that was knocked out of me, all I could do was apologize to the people for wrecking their meal, crap, I felt bad.
They refused my offer to get them a replacement meal, and proceeded to buy me beers and shots the rest of the night, and for the next two weeks when we would run into them back in town. Every time we did a shot, they would all yell "El'Dan'O"

That's the one and only time that I've gotten anywhere near any type of live beef, it was completely insane.

Those guys that ride bulls for a living have HUGE brass balls, and yes, I enjoy watching them.

Funny story I have to share:
Rewind to the year 2004. I and a couple of buddies of mine decided that talked me into taking a cheap trip to Las Vegas in December. I say “cheap” because it was Las Vegas off season. (Stayed at the Treasure Island Hotel) Cheaper deals…etc. Me being a city slicker who was in college at the time living in southern Indiana with country boys n gals, decided..”why not?” Flew into Vegas, only to see the PBR championship was in town! My first thought was….”a beer drinking competition!…hell yes boys!” I was way off to say the least. Cowboys all over the strip, with their diesel trucks, patches on the backs of their jackets….groups of them in the casinos….it was unreal. I still had fun. Never go back though.
