Anyone done the door lift handle mod?

Anyone installed garage door lift handles on the sides in the existing spots on the WSM? I'm curious if it really makes a big deal or not. There's at least no new holes drilled which is what has my interest.

I put handles on the center & bottom section of my WSM, but I drilled new holes & used ss screws & ss handles.
