Anybody build UDS' s to sell?

Just wondering if anybody builds UDS's to sell. Been thinking about doing this so I made a price list get an idea of how much it costs to build one and I came with about $140. Im just trying to get a rough idea on what they could sell for?

I thought about building them to sell but when I added in the hours I spent building mine I would have to charge over $500 to make it worth my time. At that price I doubt anyone would be willing to by it since you could get numerous off the shelf smokers for less.

I was looking at selling them for about 250. Im always out in the shop doing something anyways so I dont mind the labor. I might even be able to make up for the labor on the smoker by building a prep table to go with it that will also have a spot on the side for the smoker to sit on. Just an idea. Ive enjoyed building mine.

As soon as you have paying nagging customers the enjoyment will disappear I promise.

Yeah I can see that happening. But hopefully if I just build them and sell as is that will eliminate the nagging..... some.
