Any one in Florida ever smoke an Iguana?

I’d try it. Heck, I’ve eaten rotten shark from Switzerland. I think that’s by far the worst I’ve tried.
Not to challenge you but, I dated a ranchers daughter in college (true story) and he made every guy she brought home share a cow heart with him. Not the best. I was like 22 or 23 i think.

the grossest was when my dad tricked me into tryin sea urchin at a sushi joint. he went first, said it good. I popped it and ate it and told it was nasty and he almost fell out of his chair laughing and said "I know". those were my most memorable dislikes.

I’ve had cow hearts, deer hearts, and recently, chicken hearts. All pretty tasty.

I’ve not tried sea urchin, and I think I’ll now pass if I ever come across it.

id say you definitely wana brine an iguana and use acids to tenderize it. its lean and tuff im guessing.?

a fast test on the iguana would be like ive done fried squirrels. toss parts in instant pot with chicken broth for 12min. squeeze. take out and let cool a bit. batter then deep fry them for a crust. tender as eating fried chicken but tastes better! i worked that up because i wanted crispy fried squirrel that wasnt boot leather tuff.

could probably substitute iguana in chicken soup too?
