I had some pork belly skin so i thought i try to make them into rinds. I boiled the skin for about an hour then put into my air fryer on dehydrate at 175 for 6hrs then fried them at 400. They came out looking good but they lost their crunch in about 15min. What did i do wrong any tips would be helpful.

You can throw them into the oven and try to crisp them back up. Make sure you don't burn them.
I like to cure my skins and make cracklins.

They look good. I always “popped “ mine in the air fryer, they’ll crisp back up. Are they greasy somehow? Can’t imagine after the boil but that’s all I can think of.
I buy my skins done already for pork rinds, fresh skins I cook down into cracklins.

You have to scrape the fat off after boiling.... Are the chips hard after dehydrating ?? I use a regular dehydrator running at 155... I have to go over night to get them rock hard... But then I also deep fry mine not in the air fryer... Just have to eat rahter quickly or in a zip lock bag... They go stale quick with no preservatives in them... Which is why they are so much better than store bought...
