Did this 2 lb. one last night on the Weber Performer. Rubbed with BBQ Pit Boys Sweet Martha. I probably tossed more lump charcoal in than I needed, as it was difficult to get it below 350°. Smoked indirect for about 20 minutes with a chunk of pecan before it hit 110° IT, then direct for another 5 minutes to bring it up to medium.

Cooked just a little past my preferences but a beautiful job. Well done!! I'm planning to get a couple tri tips out soon and having a few neighbors and friends over. That's a great cut of meat. Nice job.
