Was off for a few days so I decided to toss a nice Butt into the MES.

Rub: Pepper, salt, garlic powder, brown sugar, a bit of chile powder.

Smoke: 240 with Maple Wood

Overall an awsome butt, definitely loved the maple wood...not to strong, but not to weak, almost perfect for pork. It will be my new go to wood for butts.

Looks great! If you like the maple on pork it's great on chicken as well. A half cup of pure maple syrup works great in brines also.

Nice butt! I have one in the fridge that I need to smoke in a day or so. But I'll need are a run for more wood. Maple sounds like a good one.
