I love a good pork steak and those look great. Local Savealot has then for $1.99 / lbs. I was gonna my to grab some to grill but looks like rain and storms all week. We could sure use the rain here in Ohio so I'll take it.
Thanks Jeff and the local Food Lion also runs a sale every couple of weeks but they have NO meat saw in the back 🙄
so I have to depend on Kroger or local butcher for cuts.
We've had storms today and predicted for every afternoon here too. We are in need of a slow, soaking rain.

Don't know if there is really a specific way to cut them off a shoulder/butt, I just slice at random on thickness preference. :emoji_thinking:
Same here but I usually prefer 1 1/4- 1 1/2 thick or so. New guy last time cut a little thin. I like the cut as we had 2 full cuts of the money muscle.

Thanks Mr T2 I do believe they were some of the best yet.
I ran 275 for the first 4 hrs then bumped up to 300 when I started the mop.
The natives here were getting restless 😬
