Hidey ho neighbors, I'm just starting to look seriously into getting into smoking my own. I've made jerky for years using a dehydrator but want to do more. I'm looking at building my own smoker but not sure what materials are best. I've got some osb but I'm a but hesitant to use that. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you all.

John

Thanks for the welcome! Stan, I joined the group and added myself to the map, thanks again. My wife is encouraging me to buy a smoker instead of building one (I about fell down). A friend highly recommended the Camp Chef Smoke Vault, any thoughts on that brand?
