Hey all! My name is Jeff and I just joined. I was in the process of smoking some deer summer sausage and was looking for advice when this forum came up.

I am not totally new to smoking and have had decent success with smoked Goldeye and Candied salmon. However it has been many years since I helped my dad out with smoking fish and feel I have lost ALOT of the skills he taught me. So I am kinda starting out from scratch again.

Currently I am using a small Bradley electric smoker but hope to one day build and use an old style cinderblock smoker that I can build into a hill out on my farm. At this point though baby steps would be smarter.

There seems to be a great amount of knowledge here and I am looking forward to picking the brains of everybody that I can! Hopefully I can take that information and put a personal spin on it for my own adventures in smoking and then pass it back to the forum.

Thanks in advance,

Jeff
