I had picked up one from Costco and now can't do without it. It is not the hand held so I cannot give any advice on that unit. Wonder if anyone has tried it.

i found the old seal a meal devices to be a pain ....

any experiences on how much longer you really get from using these things?
because the apostrophe where it says keeps food longer says compared to using shrink wrap or foil? who would use either of these for storing food for longer than one night?
