Animals in the fire pit

We had some friends over and cooked beef ribs and tri tip on the open fire pit. An animal must have been attracted by the drippings and dug it up.

It wasn't too hard to put the fire bricks back. And I think I have identified the culprit.

I agree with Jimmy.....There is no way that good boy would do something like that. I say it was a pack of coyotes that roamed through the yard.

A Great Pyrenees is supposed to sleep all day roam all night to keep the bad " guys " away .

He's supposed to stay in the pasture with the goats, but when he want to, he goes thru the electric fence and sometimes goes on a "hunt" (we can hear him barking a long ways off). At least he no longer steals dog toys from the neighbors. But let's see: he knocked over the fountain and ran off with some of the piping, he took the newspaper from the drop box and shredded it, he dug up my herb garden (at least he's staying out of the veggies), we have a rocking chair on the porch whose rockers are getting eaten, we sometimes find things in the yard or pasture (chewed up beer cans, pieces of wood, charcoal briquettes, even articles of clothing), etc, etc. Anybody need a dog?
