An Introduction

    Hello SMF!

    My name is Tim Ferguson and I am from Tacoma, WA (Go Hawks! Get a QB!). I have a an awesome wife of 5 years and a little 2 year old daughter. I am new to smoking meats and I am sure I'll never be the diehard that I am sure many of you are, but when I do it, I want to do it right. My wife got me a Masterbuilt electric smoker for my birthday. I have fired it up a few times and the results are fantastic so far. I've mostly done some ribs with one tri-tip.

    I look forward to learning the tricks from you guys! I have found this place to be an invaluable resource to make sure I am doing it right!

    Ferg, you got to be kidding.....  You have stumbled into the best forum on the web.... You will be smoking everything soon... and loving it...  The folks here share their recipes and all their secrets to absolutely the greatest smoked grub on the planet... If you can't locate the answer just ask folks here are willing to share there knowledge.
