AMNPS vs tube for a Camp Chef SmokePro?

Microwave you pellets to make it easier to get them so stay lit,2 minutes laid out on a plate works for me

I've used both, I find the oval tube to be the easiest to keep lit in my C.C.

Where do you guys place the tube in the camp chef?
I place mine on the left side of the cooking rack. I use a c-clamp attached to the end with the opening to elevate the open end and prevent pellets from falling out. I place the open end towards the back of the cooker.

On the right side away from the temp probe I also put a muffler clamp around the tube so the open end is about 2'' higher than the back end it seems to burn better than laying flat.
