I just bought an 18" Amazn tube and I am very happy with it.

If I'm doing a smoke that's longer than four hours with my 12 inch tube at about the three and a half hour mark I pick up the tube with my tongs and shake the ashes out and get all the lit pellets down to the capped end and then refill tube with more pellets and you've got another three or four hours of smoke with it burning back to the opening.
