Alone with a few birds...

Well I was planning in smoking these quarters tomorrow but it turns out.. its friday and I have nothing todo.. so.. got some chicken quarts on the uds just for a vacpac portion smoke. .im a single male that eats a lot of junk..but.. if I were to clean the freezer out ever so often I would eat like a king..

a great pic of my favorite place on earth.. my "outdoor kitchen" I got my tv.. my propane smoker on the right. . The uds on left.. my wood burner stove.. the all mighty chimney start... AMNPS Loaded and ready for probably some cheese and butter (under right chair) if I can wake up before its 90* outside in the morn.. my bike in the background and a couple of empty chairsss.. perfect!

nevermind.. my kiddo's. . Now perfect... ;)

chicken.. jeffs rub (great with the chicken....) set overnight... skins removed on half the batch. .

tbs... finally got a good picture of the infamous TBS..

its the lights.. I love where im sitting. ..

Hope I can stay awake.. im at IT 140* AFTER about 2 hours.. lump and alder/hickory chunks. .. UDS at its ol self .. 225* love it!

just flipped the legs.. this lump is burning more hot than norm. Even know uds is been 225* steadily. . I wonder if becsuse its still 98* outside at 10pm.. .. damn Texas.. ?either way.. I cooking for leftovers only.. will be better than my fast food norm!

I know I have seen that many good lookin legs in Dallas before although I can't exactly remember when it was.

Oh yeah, smoked chicken for days, please please Mr Fox, don't throw me in that briar patch.....

That one is a beauty! One is enough... im just blessed with my two!. And actually I think I just rescued a small dog. .. her name is "pickles"..pics to come if I get that said 'pickle'

Nothing better than hanging out with my dog (or him with his human, I'm not sure), smoking a yard bird, brisket or anything else that smells good, and drinking beer!

Do you v have a thread on your mini build? Ihave 9 things going on in front of me or other wise I would go through your threads. ...I wanna build one this weekend. I think I have spare pot and the old weber I stole my bottom fire basket grill for the uds. ..and I have learned that your builds are legit and thorough. :biggrin:
