Aldis lamb sale

Went into my local Aldis this morning and they had the lamb breastplates(ribs) on sale at $3.29/lb.One of the workers who sees me all the time told me to come back later and they'll be 50% off stickers on them as they just don't move that much lamb.

Came back at noon and bang picked up three at $1.65/lb!!!

The Aldis here stopped carrying them a while back, as did the small neighborhood market wally world. Nice catch!

So smoked a set yesterday,quite a bit of fat.Nothing like the last ones I did a few months back.Taste was good just not much meat.

Might have to rethink what to do with the other two packages.At least it wasn't to much money wasted.
