Expanded metal welded to frame for a bottom shelf. Decided to make the front shelf non folding. I was worried if I didn’t it would limit access to food inside. I can still reach back in pretty far and the racks slide out so it’s really not an issue. Started the heat shield/fenders ( I forgot I was gonna add them) for the rear wheels also. No pics on them yet hopefully they will be done tomorrow and then I can start the paint prep. I have some things I want to get done around the house and have a fire each night before the crappy rain hits again on Sunday. I will be working on the smoker in between things. We will see how far I get this weekend yet. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ok everyone it’s finally here last thing to fabricate is almost complete. 1 more to build of the half fender /heat shield for the tires. Not 100% perfect round on the bend but not to bad for what tools and things I have. I am happy with them hopefully I don’t have any tire melting issues will need to monitor that on first few long cooks. When I get the other side done I think it’s gonna go out side for a prep and paint gonna put the canopy over it while the paint and cleaning happens. This shed is just so dirty from all the cutting and grinding and I do want all the crap getting into my paint. It’s not perfect by any means it has imperfections ect…. But I don’t want that dust and stuff on it. 🤣🤣🤣 Once I get it outside I will update with a few full sized pics.
