If you put 1 weber chimney full of lump in your smoker, how long would it burn and what would be your max temp?

Im expierimenting and realize theres plenty of variables so....just and average temp and time please.

not enough info-what kinda smoker first?

I seem to get about 1 hr 15 mins per chimney (in about 30 degree weather) in my chargriller Pro. Havent had it over the summer yet so that may extend a little. I used my newly made charcoal basket on a raised grate this weekend and that really bumped my temps up - and lengthened the time between re-fills.

Yea the charcoal basket is nice. I was just playing and comparing to others. Learning is fun!

Your gettin 15 more than I did. Thanks

30 degrees...Yikes!! I was whiny because we were in the 50s over the night

per other users on this site - I put a heavy old rug over the smoker to help insulate on the colder windy days. However 70 deg tomorrow!!! spring almost here!!!
