A Newbie Wants To Say Hello

Hello everyone at the forum!

My real name is Michael but my screen name is Blackduff. I live in France, on the edge of the Mediterranean sea. I'm also just on the border with Spain.

I have found this way to the forum hoping to find some good recipes of Italian Sausages. My first review of the forum tells me that I'll also learn about smoking meats too. That's cool!

This will take some time to find my way through the forum but I think there's a lot of information to learn here. I eat more fish than meat but I think this is okay too.

I've been retired for quite some time. So, I'll enjoy the future posts to see what people say/do. 

By nationality, I am an American but I lived  for years in Canada (9 yrs), Sweden (10 yrs) and Spain (6 yrs) until I arrived here in France. This has been nearly twenty years in France and, unless I get kicked out of the country for too much smoke, I'll stay here for another twenty years.

Looking to see what is posts soon.

 Michael...we are so glad you joined us here at SMF!  You will find a wealth of information here.  There is quite a group of active folks on the Sausage area of the forums.  You will need to pop in there and say hello.  I see things they are making...and it makes me hungry!
