Happy Birthday America!
There is so much that I can relate to personally @ America 250!
My grand father served in WW1, Marines
My Dad WW2 , Navy: stationed on island Tinian where Atom Bomb left to Bomb Japan.
My FIN, Korean War, never met him passed before I married.
My Daughter tried to join Marines, twice. But found her way to be a MEDIC specialist in multi locations.
Unfortunately I did not serve, due to medical conditions obtained as an infant.
I salute those that gave their service !
Sail4th 250:
50 years ago : 1976. 200th USA B DAY!
Graduated high school.
Had the pleasure of sleeping on the beach @ Sandy Hook, NJ, Waking up to see the Tall ships anchored offshore all lit up, waiting to enter NYC harbor.
It was something I will never forget!
What is more surreal its 50 yrs later @ 250 now !
I want to add more?
But understand it would be too political.
But I can say this?
AMERICA is the best place to be on this planet! PERIOD!
