ok can decide now weather to gey the a-maze with the pellets or the dust. is one better than the other

My recommendation would be to get the AMNPS  and get 5# of dust for cold smoking cheese and bacon and what you think you will need for pellets based on your smoking frequency and anticipated use. The AMNPS will burn both and the dust burns at a lower temp
